We couldn't find the right instrument. So we built it.
Master-tuned instruments, built to order, priced to be played.
It began with one bad purchase and one very good tuner.
The first handpan we ever bought arrived flat, and stayed flat. The alternative was a maker with a nine-month waiting list and a $3,000 invoice. Neither is a fair way to hand someone their first instrument — so we set out to build the good one at a price people could actually reach.
Every drum is hand-hammered from stainless or Ember steel, then tuned note by note by our master tuners to ±5 cents — the same tolerance the makers charging three times more work to. You pick 432 Hz or 440 Hz, and it costs the same either way.
Three instruments per family: Essential, Signature, Master. No fifty-model catalogue, no countdown timers, no pushing you toward the expensive one. If the Essential is the right instrument for you, that is exactly what we will tell you.
If you're torn between two scales, email us before you order. We'd rather spend twenty minutes helping you choose than build the wrong instrument.
Everything that happens after you click buy.
The part most shops leave in the footer.
Every instrument is tuned to ±5 cents, then inspected again before it leaves the workshop.
Full refund on anything sent back with the packaging still sealed. No restocking fee.
On every instrument, no minimum, with tracking the day it leaves.
One year on Essential models, three years on Signature and Master, counted from the day your instrument arrives.
