No. Every note belongs to the same scale, so there's no wrong note to play - most people improvise something they enjoy within the first hour. Only the touch takes a few weeks.
Hands only - mallets dent tone fields permanently. Wipe it dry after each session, store it in its bag, keep it out of the sun and parked cars. Treated that way it holds its tuning for one to three years, and if it ever drifts it can be retuned.
Yes. It's about as loud as an acoustic guitar played gently, with no low-end thump to travel through floors. A rug and soft furnishings will flatter it more than a bare tiled room.
The Essential and the Signature take 5 to 7 days to build, then travel by sea: allow 3 to 4 weeks from your order to your door. The Master takes 20 to 25 days to build, so it travels by air and arrives in 4 to 5 weeks. Every handpan is built to order in the scale and the pitch you pick, which is what accounts for most of that window.
Yes: 30 days from delivery, with the packaging still sealed, for a full refund. Write to us before you order - a two-minute exchange about the scale is usually what stops a return being needed at all.
Yes, counted from the day it arrives: one year on the Essential, three years on the Signature and the Master. It covers the handpan itself in normal use. If a note or the shell isn't right, send us a photo or a short recording and we will sort it out with you.
